Our program aims to provide members with the tools and knowledge to confront the challenges for this year and beyond. We have included a skills-building series, as well as opportunities for activists to share experiences beyond their daily challenges. We hope the program helps build the skills and linkages needed to create powerful locals with confident leaders.

In a perfect world we would have no limits on the number, level and frequency of educational opportunities. In reality our region has a budget of just over $120,000 for all of our union educational activities. Trying to do everything for everybody is a challenge. Planning will help us get the most out of our regional education budget.

This year our priority is to provide a number of opportunities for new stewards and seasoned activists to take the new stewardship series.
